Showroom · Geneva · by appointment

You have felt this before.
You had never seen it.
Second-hand clothing and accessories chosen one at a time in Geneva. What is different here: every piece shows where its category sits in the market index — what this kind of object is worth today, and which way it is moving.
This page is a mock-up. The pieces below are examples meant to show the structure — they are not for sale and the prices are invented. The categories, the cotes, the postal tariffs and the payment methods are real.
Every piece arrives with its cote.

Postage is calculated on the piece and shown on its page — no flat rate, no surprise. Swiss Post tariffs, cover included.
CHF 7.50 to 29.50How the postage is worked out
Postage does not depend on weight alone. On an ordinary parcel Swiss Post is liable for the contents only up to CHF 500 — above that you have to buy the cover, and the cover decides which product the parcel travels on. That is the rule applied here, without exception.
| Value of the piece | What it travels as | Covered up to | Postage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 – 500 CHF | Economy | 500 | 7.50 – 10.50 |
| 501 – 1 500 CHF | Economy + Signature | 1 500 | 9.00 – 12.00 |
| 1 501 – 5 000 CHF | Priority + Assurance | 5 000 | 17.50 – 20.50 |
| Packed weight | Economy | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| up to 2 kg | 9.00 | 10.50 |
| up to 10 kg | 12.00 | 13.50 |
| up to 30 kg | 21.00 | 22.50 |
The CHF 1.50 discount for a label created online is already deducted wherever it applies. It does not apply above CHF 1,500: insurance can only be bought at a counter, where the parcel is handed over in person. Collection in Geneva is free in every case.
The cote
Where the figure next to the price comes from
Every piece belongs to a category in the register published on cotes.ch — a second-hand market price index kept in Geneva, tracking 507 categories: silver by the gram, rugs by the square metre, branded leather goods, studio ceramics.
The cote shown is the position of the category, not an estimate of the piece. It says whether this kind of object is rising, flat or falling, and on what depth of market — how many comparable sales per month. An Hermès scarf changes hands almost daily; a remade mink jacket, almost never. The price does not read the same way in the two cases.
When a category is not yet measured, it says so. No cote is invented to look good, and a category without data shows a dash rather than a number.
The index is kept separately from the shop. It does not rise because I have something to sell, and it does not fall because I want to buy. What I sell does not enter the calculation.
The status is always shown. While the index is in its seeding phase most categories are marked as simulated — that is deliberate, and it is checkable on cotes.ch.
Questions
What I get asked most
Are the pieces authenticated?
Yes, and the word matters. Every branded piece is examined by ÉPOQUE before it is offered: stitching, hardware, serial numbers, composition labels, period consistency. Where a dossier exists it is supplied with the piece; where a doubt remains that I cannot resolve, the piece does not go on the site.
Can I see and try a piece before buying?
It is the better way. Visits are by appointment in Geneva, 14 boulevard de la Tour. You see the piece in daylight, you try it, and you decide afterwards. Nothing is paid before that.
How does payment work?
Three ways, none of which requires an account. Cash on collection and TWINT carry no fee. By card I send you a SumUp link: the operator's commission, 2.5 %, is passed on as charged and shown before you pay.
How much is shipping?
It is calculated on the piece, not charged as a flat rate, and it is shown on its page. The packed weight sets the Swiss Post tier; the value of the piece decides the cover. Up to CHF 500 an Economy parcel is enough — CHF 7.50 to 19.50 by weight. Between 500 and 1,500 a signature is added. Above 1,500 the parcel travels Priority and insured, handed in at a counter.
Why does the cover change the price of postage?
Because on an ordinary parcel Swiss Post is liable for the contents only up to CHF 500. Above that the cover has to be bought: CHF 1.50 for a signature, which raises liability to 1,500, or CHF 7.00 for insurance, which raises it to 5,000. A CHF 890 coat sent without a signature is covered to 500 — which is to say, badly. The supplement is not a matter of opinion, it is paid.
Do you ship outside Switzerland?
Not by default. On request I will quote: across the border there is customs, different insurance and delays I would rather price than improvise. Write to me with the destination country and the piece you have in mind.
What if the piece does not suit me?
On a piece that was shipped, you have seven days to return it in the state it left in; return postage is yours and the price of the piece is refunded. On a piece collected in Geneva and tried on the spot, no: you saw it, wore it and accepted it.
Where do the pieces come from?
From estates, apartment clearances and private wardrobes, mostly in the canton of Geneva and around the lake. They usually arrive through Debarr.as, which empties the homes, and are sorted piece by piece. Anything neither authenticable nor wearable does not come here.
What exactly is the cote?
It is the position of the piece's category in the index published on cotes.ch — not an estimate of the piece itself. It says whether this kind of object is rising or falling, and on what depth of market. The index is kept separately from the shop: what I sell does not enter its calculation.
Can I offer you a piece?
Yes. Write to me with daylight photographs, the house, the size and an honest account of the condition. I answer with what the piece is worth for its category, and whether I take it. A no is still a useful valuation.
